A Day With A Slum Dweller
Abdul Aziz, a brave heart, who is well known among the mass people as a Freedom fighter of the Liberation War of Bangladesh. He had a colorful life at his youth. He was a service holder would work as a clerk in a suburb in the British period and he was paid 150 taka. He didn't get pension cause during the partition in 1947, British ruler went from the subcontinent and new Government took place and rejected all prayers belong to British government.
A Centuries-old poor man Abdul Aziz came from a suburb to Dhaka few years ago and took shelter in a slum in the capital of Bangladesh. He has a daughter and a son. He lives with his daughter as because his son left him after being newly married. This incident made him hurt and sometimes when his son would try to give him 100 or 200 bugs as the pocket money, he just ignored to take. His self-respect made his son’s money simply worthless. Now he is passing very cumbersome life. But everybody resided in the slum and neighborhood loves him, his wisdom and simplicity though he didn’t get even a bit from his own blood. But, Still he wishes to survive on earth for better life. This documentary focuses on the rise and fall of life of Abdul Aziz.
